Our Work
Our goal is to provide all the necessary tools to disadvantaged youth
The services we offer aim to bridge the gaps that currently exists between different government organisations, non-profit agencies and other services providers, especially where multicultural youth are concerned.
Our programs provide disadvantaged and disengaged young people with the essential skills needed to build self-confidence, self-efficiency and networks that will encourage a more enduring development.
YAY is a youth-led action research/community development group aimed to:
Implement Strategies
Implement innovative strategies by young people for young people involving health and wellbeing, education and training and community participation.
Involve Young People
Get them involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of programs, forums, conferences, workshops and all other facets of running a successful non-for-profit organisation.
Diversity Activities
Use fun activities as tools for youth engagement, social inclusion and leadership development.
YAY Programs
Our programs support vulnerable young people aged 15-24 including those disengaged from school, family and community or at risk of engaging in antisocial behaviour.
Identify Needs
Gather the needs of young people from CALD backgrounds through youth consultations.
